Production History

Compiler’s Note: The Masque of La Salle University has a long and slightly confusing history. This list strives to document the productions of student-run theatre at La Salle. Such theatre has existed in many forms throughout the history of the College and as such, I have labeled any student-run productions as Masque. Such a liberty mainly concerns the productions of the 1940s and 1950s and notations have been made to distinguish these from other productions. What this list has become, in a sense, is less a documenting of The Masque’s productions at La Salle, and more a listing of student theatre at La Salle. In a document dated 1960, then-Moderator of The Masque, Dan Rodden, states that The Masque was also known as “La Salle College Theatre.” These productions have been denoted with footnotes.

Special thanks to Brother Joseph Grabenstein, without whose outstanding efforts, this listing would be impossible to compile.
