The incessant need of us students to chill is a need that La Salle has not ignored. In return for our primal instincts to sit and not work (for most of the time), La Salle has given us three specific lounges where us commuters can hang out.
Documented for the first time ever in text, “The Lounge” is what most commuters call the Game lounge. It’s in the basement of the Union Building and features the commuter lockers, a pool table, couches and tables to eat, chat, chill, or even sleep (if last night’s rest wasn’t sufficient enough).
The TV Lounge
Especially utilized during March Madness (somehow, watching Seton Hall lose is a perennial joy at La Salle), the TV lounge is located right next to the SGA office on the first floor of the Union Building. There’s a big screen TV, DVD player, couches, and most importantly, a dimmer for the lights for those “special” movies.
