Topic: Jena 6
On September 20, 2007 AASL joined with people across the United States and wore black in honor of the ongoing fight for the Jena 6. Our message was simple un-equal justice is just not acceptable.
Following the 20th we held a two part event. Where we informed the general public exactly what is happening in Louisiana and brainstormed on what we can do to help.
This is on going project for us and we welcome anyone to join us in our attempts to both inform others and show support to the Jena 6 and others being mistreated.
